Since joining DIU, I have been coordinating a student batch, with responsibilities that include:

  • Coordinating between students and faculty for prompt and effective communications.
  • Solving various issues to ensure a better learning environment.
  • Guiding and encouraging students to do better.

This responsibility allows me to closely observe students, address their questions on a variety of topics, and deepen my understanding of their learning needs. It helps me manage the class effectively, creating an environment where students feel supported and encouraged to participate. Additionally, I gain valuable experience in balancing administrative tasks with academic mentorship, continuously refining my skills in classroom management and student guidance.

I currently serve as an advisor for two student clubs at DIU. My responsibilities include -

  • Conducting workshops on cyber-security to raise awareness.
  • Conducting workshops and one-to-one discussion on career opportunities in Bangladesh and abroad.
  • Continuously motivating students to improve themselves.

This position is deeply meaningful to me because it allows me to mentor and guide students, which brings immense fulfillment. Watching them grow, overcome challenges, and achieve success is incredibly rewarding. Being part of their academic and personal development gives my work a strong sense of purpose, and the opportunity to inspire and support their progress motivates me to continually improve as an educator.

HSTU Machine Learning Enthusiasts

As one of the founding members of this club at HSTU, I helped establish its mission to inspire and nurture interest in machine learning among students.

  • Organized and conducted introductory workshops on machine learning for junior students.
  • Developed learning materials and resources to simplify complex machine learning concepts.
  • Mentored students in applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems.

This experience helped me improve my ability to guide students through machine learning topics and boosted my teaching and mentorship skills. We were passonate about promoting machine learning and its potential in our country, aiming to inspire more students to explore this field. Working together also gave me a better understanding of how emerging technologies can impact both local and global communities.

Research Assistant

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to participate in a research project led by Dr. Md. Arshad Ali to develop a biometric attendance system using smart IoT device. Together with my team, we built the system from the ground up under his guidance.

  • Gained valuable experience working with Raspberry Pi computers and fingerprint sensors for biometric data collection.
  • Learned back-end development and contributed to the system's database design and server integration.
  • Collaborated closely with team members to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
  • Assisted in testing and debugging the system to ensure accuracy and reliability.

This project inspired me to create solutions for real-world problems and gave me an overview of the entire system development lifecycle. It proved valuable in later semesters when I worked with my team on multiple projects to meet course requirements.

Early in my undergraduate years, I developed a strong passion for problem-solving and competitive programming. I joined the club as a general member and took on official positions starting in 2019. The club helped refine my problem-solving skills and provided an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals.

  • Solved 500+ problems in various online judges.
  • Participated in numerous online programming contests and intra-university contests.
  • Represented my university in one National Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC) and two Inter-University Programming Contests (IUPCs).
  • Played an active role in organizing intra-university programming contests, managing event logistics, and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Gained valuable experience in teamwork, critical thinking, and time management.
  • Mentored newer club members, helping them prepare for contests and improve their problem-solving skills.
